How to Hard Reset or Force Restart iPhone X
What was once an easy gesture turned into a complex finger movement. With the new generation of iPhone, you have to quickly press two separate button in a row and then press & hold a different button. We will walk you through all the steps, so you won’t have any issue restarting your iPhone.
Step 1: Press Volume Up
Press & immediately release the Volume Up button.
Step 2: Press Volume Down
Press & immediately release the Volume Down button.
Step 3: Press and hold Side Button
Press & hold the button the side (Sleep/Wake button) until you see the Apple logo
Note: The screen will turn black for a few seconds as the iPhone X will shut down and restart again. Keep holding the side button until you see the Apple logo again.
How to Factory Reset iPhone X
If hard resetting did not solve your problems, you will have to factory resets all the settings. Make sure that you will do an iTunes backup first, before resetting your iPhone X. After a successful reset, you can reload your backup and get all your old content & settings back. Here is how you can factory reset it.
